Elke 5 minuten alcohol wordt er alchol gedronken, in Goede Tijden Slechte Tijden is dit elke 10 minuten Vooral de onder jongeren favoriete acteurs blijken het meest te drinken. Het gebruik van alcohol wordt in de soaps bijna nooit met negatieve consequenties geassocieerd. Stap concludeert uit de vandaag gepresenteerde resultaten dat vooral tienermeisjes een verwrongen idee van de werkelijkheid krijgen doordat ze op televisie aldoor maar zien dat er alcohol gedronken wordt.

A British student is claiming to have designed the first bittorrent client for mobile phones. The software is called WizBit and it utilized the 3G network to transfer large files in the torrent-like fashion. With the additions of larger storage space and high-speed connection on cellphones it was only a matter of time before piracy made the leap to a mobile platform. Currently the code is written in Python for Nokia, meaning only Symbian-powered phones could launch and use this application. WizBit is still an unfinished project, but the developer hopes to have it out by July 7.

The World Cup will be held in Germany in 2006 and this FIFA World Cup Google Maps mashup will let you tour the 12 host cities. The map coverage includes information for all the venues plus the full match schedule for each stadium. The city of Munich features an interesting satellite picture of the stadium under construction since the sat-cam that snapped the photo caught it several months ago.
